Our Mission

“Proclaiming Christ in all of life from one generation to the next.”

Our Beliefs

God

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  He is the Creator of all things and is owed all worship, honor, glory, and praise from His creation.

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God.  It is the only rule for faith and life.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the incarnate Son of God who humbled Himself by taking on human flesh in order to redeem us from sin and its curse.  He is fully God and fully man and is the only Redeemer of God’s elect.  He lived a life of perfect obedience to God’s will and offered Himself as an atoning sacrifice upon the cross for our sin.  After His death, He was raised to new life on the third day by the power of God and now sits at the right hand of God the Father, awaiting the day when He will return to judge the living and the dead.

Sin and Salvation

Scripture teaches that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and that the wages of sin is death.  As a result of our sin nature, we are unable to rescue ourselves or merit any favor from God.  Salvation is a gracious gift from God that can only be found by repenting of sin, looking to Jesus Christ in faith, and receiving His righteousness.

Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is truly God and is the active agent in applying the redemptive work of Jesus Christ to hearts and lives.  He also aids us in our growth in grace and faith.

The Church

We believe that the Church is the visible body of Jesus Christ and is called to bear witness to the hope and grace of the Gospel to the world.  We are united to one another by faith and enjoy the blessings of our fellowship in Christ.

While we uphold that the Word of God is the only infallible rule of faith and life, we subscribe to the Westminster Confession of Faith as an accurate expression of the teachings of Scripture.
